Music

As a band devoted to education, Rampant Lion Pipe Band has been built from the ground up since its inception in 2007. RLPB is primarily focused on developing musicianship from the very start of music education; most of our musicians started their tuition in Highland Bagpipes or Scottish Drums when they joined the band.
"TECHNIQUE IS SUBSERVIENT TO MUSIC."

This is exactly the approach we take to training musicians in Rampant Lion Pipe Band. It is our belief that the key to producing a top-notch pipe band is a strong core understanding and appreciation of music.

Repertoire

Rampant Lion Pipe Band's repertoire consists of a variety of Scottish tunes, mainly 4/4, 2/4, and 6/8 marches, in true form to our identity as a Scottish Pipe Band. Below are all the sets we perform in parades, competition, and performance.
